Restorative Yoga

Called “the antidote to stress,” Restorative Yoga trains your body and mind to relax. Your breath will slow, your heart rate will regulate, your digestive and hormonal systems can reset, and the chronic fight or flight that we experience in modern society is eased—sometimes to the point of extinction with regular practice. Passive stretching and relaxation techniques using mental calm and mindfulness, comfortable blankets, supportive bolsters, calm lighting, and a safety of place bring you to a true downward regulation of body and mind. Feel relaxed yet energized and refreshed after class. Give yourself permission to do Restorative Yoga. Shred stress. Learn bliss.

Appropriate for most levels of practitioner, this class will incorporate aspects of the trauma-informed yoga class.
